Browse porn anonymously

Ah who hasn’t watched porn at work, in bed while wifey is asleep…and yes I purposely didn’t mention when your husband is asleep because let’s face it, women don’t watch as much porn or actually do but are way more open about it. Us mean are sneaky and hide to do our dirty deed 😉 So when the urge comes and you’re working or doing anything else that requires some kind of privacy and anonymity what do you do?

But first let’s look at why you might want to be as anonymous as possible when you’re browsing adult content.

Risks about watching adult content

Yes there are some kind of risks when you’re online and watching porn…

At work

If you’re at work, I guarantee you your system administrator is seeing EVERYTHING you’re doing and that includes downloading illegally or watching porn. Your work computer is connected to your company network and they can access everything you do on the internet, from the messenger apps you’re using to whatever you’re browsing or downloading. Don’t think for a minute that deleting your history or whatever you downloaded afterwards can make a difference. And if you think it’s ok to be on your phone, think twice. If you’re connected to your company network, same thing. So if you’re on your phone at least use your own data and don’t connect to your company wifi.

Your phone carrier

Your phone carrier OR your internet provider can see as much as your company system administrator can. What can it do for you? Well, watching adult content on the internet is not illegal, not in this country at least, but they could be slowing you down if you’re using a lot of data watching porn. Not a big deal but I people at Comcast I’m sure are having fun looking at the kind of porn people are watching 😉

Your significant other

If you are not communicating very well with your significant other. And yes you should! You should be able to tell your wife: “Honey, I love you and that has nothing to do with you but I need my personal fun and I love to jerk off to women wearing diapers so could you leave me alone for the next 10 minutes…actually 2 should be plenty enough…please and thank you”. But most of you are not comfortable enough sharing your jerk off habits therefore hide therefore you have to be careful of what you do, either with your personal computer, the family one or even your phone. Because news flash, your wife is way smarter than you. She’ll figure out a way to know exactly what you’re watching on the internet and even if she probably doesn’t care that much, the fact that you hide it will get you a nice argument you’d rather avoid.

Everybody can see what you’re watching

Forget about your wife, your boss and your ISP. The entire world knows exactly what you’re browsing. If you didn’t know there’s things called cookies that are used to identify you and sometimes carry over the information everywhere. You never noticed that suddenly you have certain friends you don’t even know as suggestions on Facebook, or certain ads popping up everywhere? That’s because these cookies are like your fingerprints on the internet. And some sites are sneaky and only allow access if you accept cookies.

Data breaches

If you can imagine huge corporation with 10,000s of employees and fancy engineers get issues with data breach, you can imagine how easy it is for a hacker to get data off a porn site. And yes that happened in the past and yes that’s actually happening. If you’ve read Xbiz or AVN recently you’ve heard of a few.

Viruses and malwares

Viruses are actually rare but malwares or adwares not so much. So after visiting a porn site you suddenly start seeing your computer acting “weird” like you see popup ads with porn or gaming ads, or you have a bunch of games or software or addons you never installed…yeah that’s what a porn site can do to you sometimes. If you’re illegally downloading some porn, which you SHOULD NOT, you might have some ransomware which is exactly what you think is it. The file you downloaded contains a tracker. The tracker knows your IP aka your address in the internet and know exactly who you are. Not you technically committed a crime and that person is blackmailing you. And that is not rare at all by the way. Ransomware seem to be the new trend when it comes to anything-ware.

How to watch your porn anonymously?

So now that you know the risks, how can you watch your porn without taking the risk to get fired, get a divorce, get blackmailed or who knows what?

VPN

A VPN or Virtual Private Network according to Wikipedia, extends a private network across a public network and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network…which is gibberish for me already. But much simpler, a VPN reroutes your traffic through servers around the world. Which means your IP is hidden, nobody knows who is at the origin, you, which means you’re completely incognito on the internet.

In other words, this is what a VPN can do for you:

  • Hide your IP
  • Hide your location
  • Encrypt your data
  • Clean you browsing history
  • Protect your personal data
  • Prevent ISP speed throttling
  • Unblock restricted sites around the world
  • Stop targeted ads

Who can benefit from a VPN?

Well, after explaining all the risks to browse adult websites, you can guess that EVERYBODY could and may be should use a VPN.

Users for all the reasons we mentioned. Now if you are an adult performers those reasons might be relevant to you as well! If you have a private life outside of porn and I’m sure most of you do, you probably don’t want anybody finding your family Facebook account, or your friends or family. Well based on what you do and based on what one of your fan browse, the internet does the connection for you. So User John Doe goes to let’s say to Loyalfans to watch your content. He does it from his phone. Oh by the way, the content you put there was done either from your phone or your computer most likely from the same IP, but anyway, that’s how Facebook will connect your two together and offer you as suggested friend for example. So unless you have a second device or have a completely separated network to work and to just live your life with your family, then a VPN might be useful as well.

Which VPN to use?

There’s a lot of options out there. But when it comes to adult, I kinda trust the industry itself to provide the best tool for the job. All the VPN services out there are great but they are mostly meant for let’s say testing. So you’re a developer and you need to test how your site looks like from Germany and you don’t want to have to change your settings every time you want to test to you log in to a VPN in Germany…None of the mainstream services are really for the specific purpose of browsing porn anonymously but more importantly they don’t really know how adult site operate.

I think we agree that right now one of the biggest porn site of the planet is Pornhub. Well good thing is Pornhub built a VPN especially to browse porn anonymously, what a coincidence 😉 And we’re so cool they gave us 75% off to share so there’s you go…you’re welcome 🙂
